Oil-change interval extended to 5,000 hours on V Series
Longer service intervals
After 18 months of accelerated lab testing and parallel field trials at three customer sites, we're confirming an updated service interval for the V Series.
New recommendation
Oil change every 5,000 operating hours — up from the previous 3,000 — when running on standard mineral oil under the following conditions:
- Inlet temperature ≤ 40 °C
- Ambient temperature ≤ 30 °C
- Continuous duty (24/7 operation actually extends oil life vs. start-stop)
- No condensable vapors above water-vapor capacity rating
What's changed
The improvement comes from the new oil formulation we phased in last year, plus an updated exhaust demister cartridge that holds back more oil mist and keeps the sump cleaner. Both are standard on units built after September 2025 — older units can be upgraded by your local service partner.
For high-vapor or harsh-process duty (chemical, freeze-drying), the previous 3,000-hour interval still applies and we recommend stepping up to a synthetic oil.
